Lake Friendly Business Highlight
Our Lake Friendly Business, Transfer Pizzeria Cafe, was interviewed by Spectrum News1 - highlighting the Lake Friendly Program and Plastic-Free MKE movement! The owner, Russell Rossetto, shared that since opening he has made environmentally-conscious decisions. Transfer Pizzeria has landfill, a recycling stream, and organic waste that turns into compost, as well as alternative compostable Bio Bags. Transfer Pizzeria's long-term commitment of being "certified friends of Lake Michigan" has allowed Plastic-Free MKE to support and lift them up by becoming a recognized Lake Friendly business. Rossetto said he is proud that Transfer Pizzeria is a Lake Friendly business - and Plastic-Free MKE sure is too!
